South London Business is operating a programme called City Growth Accelerator which provides grants for up to £5,000 for small to medium businesses to subsidise the costs of specialist consultancy advice. Grants of £1,250, £2,500 and £5,000 are available.

For every pound invested, City Growth Accelerator will invest £2 (up to the value of the grant available). Therefore if a £5000 grant is received, the business will be required to contribute a further £2,500 towards the costs. So that’s £7,500 in total.

In recognition of its work promoting business in London south of the Thames South London Business was this week given two prestigious national awards by Mayor Ken Livingstone.

South London Business (SLB) received its Investors in People and its Customer First certificates from the Mayor at a special ceremony at London’s City Hall.
