The Breakout Club - This Friday!

MMC is proud to present a night of the freshest sounds and beats in South East London. Your host for the night will be Fusion, we have a DJ set from DJ NG, whose song Tell Me has been recently receiving a lot of attention. Live sets from P.C.T, Shady Blue - check out Permission to Please on Choice FM, Shaka and Flashman MC.
It's at the Deptford Arms, doors are at 8pm and it's free to get in.

A watchdog for lost souls in Greenwich Foot Tunnel

The first in a new series of exhibitions called Cupboard Love features photography and sculpture by Bea Denton and Patrick Semple. The work, installed in cupboards in the lifts at either end of the tunnel, taking the journey beneath the river as a rite of passage is as witty as it is unsettling,

Both lifts are open 7am – 7pm Mon – Fri and 10am – 5pm weekends.

Teaching Media Theory at Goldsmiths

From February I've been teaching Media Theory on the Foundation course of the Integrated Degree in Media and Communications at Goldsmiths.

Subjects covered have included Subcultures; Race and Ethnicity; Gender and Representation; Semiotics; Celebrity and The City as Text.
