Patrick Semple selected for the RWA Open, Bristol

Two images, from a series shot in Sarajevo last year, have been selected for the RWA Photography Open in Bristol in June. A pair of neglected display cases in the National Museum contain suggestions of presence, hints perhaps of former occupation. Uncurated: Ladder and Uncurated: Chair however, prove to be merely reflections and dust.

Moving Mountains Exhibition

Free exhibition of photographs of a cultural exchange between London and Mauritius.
Young artists and arts practitioners from London brought the sounds and stories of London and helped community organisation Pentakruz Entertainment Association with their project to establish a recording studio and arts academy on Mont Brisee mountain.
Young photographer Sara Shamsavari gained critical acclaim with her Street Portraits, a series of images that capture "the uncelebrated beauty which exists in everyday situations and people" (i-D Magazine) Exhibition opening times:
