IN site: a photographic exploration of urban space

Collective [space] are a group of international photographers based in London. Their first exhibition, [IN]site is an exploration of their inner lives through urban space. Drawing on their surroundings, they have each developed a personal language with which to convey their own narrative.

How street savvy are you? You’ve got your A to Z to get from A to B but how happy and safe do you feel on the streets? In today’s cities, we are all too aware of the potential hazards on the street. Perhaps it is time that we learnt how to safely enjoy, rather than endure, the time we spend in public space.

Peckham Street Training is an intergenerational art project, inviting people of all ages to engage creatively with public space and share alternative instructions for exploring the urban environment. Free public tours around Peckham have been developed by families from Peckham in collaboration with artist Lottie Child and net art organisation Furtherfield.org. We are planning an exciting new project for autumn term where two teams of young people will work together to produce a split EP.
